Change Your Spots

You can imitate a wilder nature at least.

I picked up this smart-casual jacket from NINIKO a few weeks ago now and thought it was about time it featured in a look. Detailed with buttons, cuffs and side pockets, you’ll notice I’m not wearing the collar piece here – some jackets can be easily broken down and re-worked with scarves and sweaters, and this is a good example. You will have to content with the chest piece breaking a little in certain poses (the overlay of the upper section would have hidden that) but unless you have a particularly outlandish AO it shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Banged to Rights

…No, Detective, I didn’t realise looking this good was a crime. But I’ve decided to co-operate: I’ll name my accomplices. You’ll put in a good word at my hearing, right?

The guy you really want for this is Tricky Boucher. It’s this new Elle skin from Belleza that started the whole thing…. indecent exposure, yeah, I hear you. The word is that Elle has two sisters, the formidable Jesse and the sweet young Alyson. She’s turned out to be the best of both, and the problem is that when your skin’s this flawless it’s difficult not to want to show it off. This body’s been worked on and it’s got the whole grid talking-

You may consider yourself to be a Grid Girl, but this particular look offers a different take on the term. I was inspired for this look when Gospel Voom invited me over to his new mainstore. While above you’ll find an imaginative shopping complex full of shiny booties, watches, shades and utterly gorgeous furniture, at ground level you’ll find the wonderfully wacky Quackerstone Racetrack. No bikes or sports cars here: what you’ll find instead is thoroughbred racing duckies.

While my rubbery steed was warming up in the paddocks I took the opportunity to walk (well, fly) the track. It’s important to stand out from the competition, so I pulled on this jacket from Drawmachine which certainly seemed to do the trick. Read the rest of this entry »

Me and a Gun

(or two).

Sometimes it’s entertaining to strut around an RP sim looking like you’re going to hail bullets down on the first try-hard that crosses your path*. It’s also a fantastic ego-boost when many of those too scared to try and communicate in character with your apparently kick-arse persona stoop to IMing you and complimenting you on your wardrobe. I do so love the metaverse.

This look is based around the outfit Nardcotix created for the Rezzable ‘The Future is Now’ event (ending February 3). Every post-apocalyptic gunslinger needs her own skin-tight leotard, and the texturing on this one has just the right feel, deep creases running all over with stretch to the sleeves into which arms must have been long teased and coerced.
